The Legacy of Jesus is dedicated to martyrs who gave their lives that we might share one faith in God as we become one people, one world, one accord. This site is built around the legacy of Jesus: that we love our neighbour as we love ourselves. Please join us and invite your friends too, for here you will find just how much alike a Judeo-Christian, Muslim, Taoist, Hindu or Buddhist really are because we were made by the God of all. Now rituals and traditions can no longer divide us and we can glorify God together in our forum or blog!
What has seven loaves and five fishes? The real cost of world hunger is certainly not the $18 billion a year the UN is asking for. The real cost lies in the depression, agony, suffering and disease that going to sleep on an empty stomach causes in those who live it every day. The problem is trying to get someone with a full belly to understand what nearly 25% of the world's population experience every day of their lives. There is no greater catalyst for creating hatred in the minds of those children who survive growing up in daily tragic poverty and hunger . That’s the real return on non-investment! In the book I wrote titled “One People, One World, One Accord. I asked a very basic question. It was simply: “How can anyone face their children knowing that somewhere on earth a children are born to parents who love them as much as you love your children are forced to watch them die of starvation. Their death is not the fault of your children or their parents. It is the fault of everyone in the world who can face their children while knowing someone else’s is starving to death. Comment: The mere fact that a child can starve to death is proof of the failure of every form of government and every form of religion. Do you agree? Mel Reed
